Canadian Professor Jordan Peterson has gained notoriety by refusing to conform to a Canadian bill/law legally compelling the populace to address the trans-gendered/gender-fluid by their preferred pronouns. Peterson will not abide by a law that compels speech… …perhaps if he was presented with the OPs life-or-death statistics, he would change his mind.

Factual Discussion about Canada’s Hate Speech Laws

I immediately thought of Canadian Psychology Professor Jordan Peterson and his insistence on NOT obeying a new law which commands the populace to address members of the Transgender Community in their preferred pronouns. Peterson has stated he would accomodate a student who privately negotiated their preferred pronouns with him…he just feels it is “Unconstitutional” (whatever the Canadian equivalent) to be forced by law to alter speech.

Notice that first link where over 4 years ago there was a gripe about liberals “censoring” Peterson.

Just to provide some context. This isn’t a new interest.

Also, Ben Shapiro, who has had his own controversies regarding bigotry against LGBTQ+ people.
