I am a recovering Catholic and, ironically, I managed to get here with just one kid by following the Catholic approved method (I have used condoms for STD prevention, but very rarely since I was not as promiscuous as I wish I had been before I got married).

Hi Mighty Girl, can you tell me where condoms are in the Catholic approved method? It was my understanding that they were not approved for use. If you had not used condoms for STD prevention do you think you might have ended up with more than one kid?

I doubt I’ve pitted him for not apologizing to Palin, but I never demanded Rush apologize; I always assumed any apology he gave would be worthless as the man is a total sociopath.

Scott Adams’ column today discusses the point of the demand for an apology has nothing to do with changing Rush’s beliefs or making him feel sorry, it’s all about being a power play. The public apology is an act of submission. Rush tried to dismiss women by insulting them through Fluke, and the response was to make him back down and show submission.

I realize this was pages and days ago, but look more closely. At $50/month, that is $1800 a year. The actual statement in Fluke’s testimony was that it was $3000 for 3 years, or $1000 a year. As you can see, your calculated number of $1800/year is more than her number of $1000/ year. 80% more. Her numbers are clearly in the range you just calculated. So you’ve just proven her accurate.

Now there’s an interesting lawsuit coming out of this, filed by a very big name in health care – Humana.

Humana owns a company called Concentra Health Services. Another company, Preval, is marketing a memory aid pill called – Concentra. The two companies were already in dispute over this, and Preval had allegedly agreed to change the name after the first production run had sold out.

But in the meantime Preval had taken other steps which belied this promise, and possibly worst of all, started advertising their pill on Rush’s show. And Humana started getting complaints about supporting Rush and his obnoxious program. So they’ve now file suit, claiming among other things that the ad running on Rush’s program is damaging its reputation.

Well I am an atheist now, so what the RCC thinks of my sexual life does not really concern me at all. The RCC is against condoms as a general rules (I think there is an exception but I am not sure of the exact wording and don’t care).

I understand that I am already in TMI territory, but since I already told you about my spectacularly abundant periods (think park fountain)… I used condoms at the beginning of my relationships when I had no idea about the STD status of my partners, but I have beenlong-term relationships before I got married, serial monogamy if you will.

For birth control I strictly used natural methods. I should not be using pills due to other health issues, but in deciding which is the lesser evil I went with the pill now.

FTR, my mom, a very strict Catholic always used the pill, and that was when they were made of horse pee. Nobody cares what the RCC thinks.
