It’s laughable that Bush would suddenly pretend to care about either the Constitution or the Separation of Powers but be that as it may, the Constitutional objection is a total horseshit smokescreen. The Constitution gives Congress the power to decide when we will or will not go to war as well as control of the purse strings.
This is an example of the kind of conservative perspective that we are frequently warned we are at risk of losing here at the SDMB.
