A bit more detail on the shooters involved in the multiple violent incidents in Clearwater Beach.

FTAs:

One was Jared Kashon Woodard, 19, of 8116 N. Semmes St., Tampa. Woodard got into a verbal fight with someone in a vehicle next the one he was in at 91 Memorial Causeway at about 8:30 p.m., affidavits say. He pulled out a Kel-tec 380 and waved it back and forth, causing someone in the other vehicle to call 911, affidavits say. Pinellas Sheriff’s deputies found the weapon when they stopped Woodard, and its serial numbers had been filed off.

Illegal, as well as illegal for a 19 year old to own a handgun in the first place.

The fourth arrested subject was identified as Jeffrey James Grier, 20, of 1206 E. Seneca Ave., Apt. A, Tampa. At roughly the same time Woodard was found with his gun on Memorial Causeway, Grier was found with a .38-caliber revolver at Fort Harrison Avenue and Chestnut Street, affidavits say. Because Grier has a criminal record, he was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Because he had five rounds of ammunition on him, he was also charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies discovered he was carrying a glass pipe. Grier was also charged with violating the terms of meted out following previous charges of possession of cocaine, burglary, and carrying a concealed firearm while trespassing.

There are already laws on the books against guys like Grier and Woodward from getting handguns. And yet, they somehow manage to.

The suspect who fired upon the crowd at the Hyatt at 301 S. Gulfview Blvd. is Jerry Lee Holmes Jr., 31, of 3201 N. 15th St., Tampa, one affidavit says. He works for the city of Tampa, the affidavit says. At roughly 6:50 p.m., Holmes was arguing with a “rival group” when he pulled a .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun from his waist and fired the three shots, an affidavit said. Holmes admitted to the crime, and was charged with throwing a deadly missile into a building.

Doubt he has a felony record if he’s working for the city of Tampa. I’d be somewhat surprised if he had a license to carry his handgun.

These guys are stupid, not nuts.

I don’t know what you’re trying to prove. I was not denying the existence of mass shootings; I was simply telling the OP to read his own damn link, and get it right, before starting a Recreational Outrage thread.
