Make sure you use canned pineapple for this.
I enjoy a pineapple ring on a good sinkburger.
I can’t tell you how dirty that sounds.
Fresh pineapple I like right by itself.
Canned pineapple rings are best on white bread with mayonnaise.
It is. It is incredibly dirty – well, messy. Otherwise, it would not be a sinkburger.
I said “cake/pastry,” but the first thing that came to my mind was vanilla ice cream (in a banana split). :o
I love pineapple, with cottage cheese. I picked cake/pastries. But really I would eat it everywhere but pizza.
Yeah, I’m personally offended that al pastor isn’t an option. Since we were given no “other”, I’m gonna have to vote for headgear.
Prefer it plain, or caramelized on a dessert. +1 for upside down cake!
Pineapple on pizza is an abomination. People who argue for it are just hungry and angling to get a half pizza all to themselves. There is simply no way that a tomato sauce with oregano in it should be mixed with pineapple. Seriously.
…my burger, grilled.
If you try pineapple on pizza they way I do it, you will like it. Which is, don’t add it to the pizza until the last half of the cooking process.
That said, there should have been a meat or kabob option.
Kabob or flambé
I voted pizza, but my favourite, apart from au naturel, is grilled/bbq’d with a generous coating of cinnamon sugar.
Pizza, cake, or the criminally missing teriyaki pork kebab.
…in pineapple upside down cake (I voted for cake) but also in sweet ‘n’ sour pork. YUM!
Shish Kabob
Pizza
Red Robin Banzi-burger
Accompanying teriyaki anything, of course. With pork if grilled. With alcohol in blended drinks.
Pizza involving chicken and/or pineapple is an abomination and should be burned black with fire as an offering to the detested gods.
I don’t care for baked stuff featuring pineapple, but I won’t persecute those who do.
I prefer my pineapple on…
…my tongue.
