I’m amazed at how many of these calls I get at my work number. I always let them know that they’ve called a city number and unless they’re reporting a stop sign that’s been knocked down, I’m hanging up.
My cordless phone has a button that when pressed says “please say your name”, they often hang up at that point and I’m entertained. Last week they said “Hello” at that point I picked up and said “that’s an unusual name” Then hung up.
