Yes, I loved their chicken too, but I haven’t had any in NINE YEARS, since I moved from DC to Madison, WI.
One sour note, however. They have the worst employee morale of any fast food place I’ve ever seen. Everytime I went in, at least one employee was shouting/bitching at somebody else. Everybody looked miserable all the time. Though the food was always good, I’ve always wondered whether the batter recipe includes spit and urine given their attitudes. Not that I’d mind, since the results were yummy.
What?!? You didn’t check first to see if there would be a Popeye’s near the place you were moving to?!? For shame, for shame…
Well, you do have recourse. Just call up Popeye’s corporate and ask 'em how much it’ll cost you to open up your very own franchise right there in Madison. Only then will you feel complete, and only then will you be free to devour Popeye’s free of the fears of bodily fluids being mingled amongst your DAILY lard-laden feasts.
If I had my own Popeye’s, it would be hard to not be like Cartman when he got his very own amusement park!
