Yep. I believe that a large number of maskholes are well aware that they’re doing things that risk the lives to people who aren’t themselves. As a non-lawyer, I consider this to be attempted murder - despite the maskholes not having specific targets.
The ‘defense’, of course, is that they don’t want to kill people; they just want to scare people, just like people who brandish guns and fire them up in the air and towards crowds just to scare people.
I also believe that the government deliberately stalled and impeded efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus, because they believed that it was primarily impacting liberal areas. As a non-lawyer, I consider this to be murder - this time with specific targets.
The ‘defense’, of course, is that if there a room is on fire, and people are in the room, locking them in with the fire is totally moral and fine to do if you didn’t start the fire. Come to think of it, this sort of approach is pretty much a central tenant of republican policy.
