So cool!! Congratulations!
Ninja’d! But yes, congrats. I think a lot of people have visions of writing a great novel but, to actually follow through successfully is a fantastic accomplishment. Well done!
Excellent! Give us a link when preordering is possible
Congratulations! Let us know when it’s commercially available.
What genre is it?
I call it “hidden historical fantasy,” where the fantasy events don’t violate known history. Tim Powers did it in much of his novels.
Hey, great news! Congrats!
Congrats! I’d be interested in a short description.
Brian
That’s an amazing success that few achieve. Best of luck with
sales!
And I like his novels, so that’s a selling point for me
Such an accomplishment – I hope you are proud of yourself! Nicely done!
Here’s the back cover copy:
In 1831 London, Pablo Mansong assists an anatomist, preparing cadavers for dissection. When a young girl’s corpse is brought in by body snatchers, she sits up on the slab and claims to be Princess Victoria, heir to the throne. She is in the body with the street beggar Charlotte Hill as a plot to keep Charlotte/Victoria under his thumb of her mother and her ambitious advisor John Conroy. There are dark forces, ancient wizards with agendas, demons, a talking bust of the poet Homer, resurrection men, sentient killer rats, and music that can drive people mad, all of which challenge Pablo as he tries to set things right.
You had me at “Sentient killer rats.”
Seriously, my congratulations added to all the others.
Sounds very cool. Congrats!
I’ve long been a writer of non-fiction, and I’m pretty good at it, but fiction? Forget it! Alas, the muse has never visited me. Congratulations and kudos on your perseverance, Chuck. Lots of people start novels, but few actually finish them, much less have one published.
Congrats. That’s pretty incredible.
Yes please
Way cool! Many conga-(sentient-killer)-rats!
I’m very intrigued! Again, please let us know when we can get it.
Congratulations!!
