Not to speak for rose, but she was close to having her November bills(rent) paid just before she got the good news. I think she has Nov. covered, but don’t know when she will get her first disability check. If you have extra money, she’d be a good person to give it to. I did.

November is all taken care of now, thanks to all you folks. I don’t know if I’ll need help for December yet. My case I still flagged “dire need”, but I have no idea how much time that will shave off. So, yes. I will still gladly and gratefully accept contributions.

she should get a one time lump sum back payment of up to a year…which should be about 8.5 to 9 k on the first on the month following the decision

sometimes sooner if the decision was made before the 15th of the month anything after the 15th gets rolled over to the next month

When they tried to take my ssi I was still getting my check and went through the whole process although I had a pro advocate for the last half …a year in a half of stress upset landlords and the like for a 15 minute before an admin law judge … apparently the ss office lost my paperwork about 2 months after it started and didn’t even have the reasons the jerk who did the physical gave for me being mystically cured

He said well since me and my advocate was the only one with paperwork backing my claim he decided in my favor …

oh and make sure to take it all out of the bank if its direct deposit because 30 days after you get the lump sum its counted against the ssi limit of having 3 k in the bank
