I think I'm being scammed for $5 (surprisingly long)

Once I mailed the princely sum of $15 in an envelope and it arrived, so it would probably work for $5.

She offered to send cash, but I wanted no part of that. What if it “never arrived” (i.e. she never sent it) and she accused me of pocketing it? Even at that stage I was cautious. At least with a check she can’t accuse me of cashing it if it never existed.

What if? What’s she going to do, sue you for $5?

Send her the pen, it will be good for your Karma.
As a Southerner, I can testify that while they sometimes may be mean as hell, Southern Little Old Ladies do not cheat.

The accusation itself is painful enough to avoid. Better to be above suspicion.

Ask, by PM some of the others doing this and see if she’s played this scam, or not, on others.

Are there any of your cohorts that don’t charge shipping? Maybe you could foist her on one of them? (And also, why don’t they make blind golfers play at night?)

I know it was a long OP, so here it is again.

So sorry.
Didn’t mean to offend.
