I retract my defense of his earlier action.
Miller, can you or another Mod update the original post of issue or the warning? I honestly thought that he was warned for his post with the XXXXXXX in place of the name. It seemed very odd until I saw this thread.
It’s already there, in the original post:

After a discussion with the other mods, I have lifted dalej42’s suspension.
We have also decided the following:
- The original warning stands.
- dalej42 is now topic banned from all topics involving rape allegations. This applies to all SDMB forums.
I’ve never heard of a poster being banned from a topic. Is this a new thing? Not that I don’t think that it’s completely appropriate in this case.
It’s not a frequent occurrence, but there have been other examples of topic banning.
Rare but not unheard of.
I’ve seen it here before.
I myself, for reasons I’d rather not go into, am banned from discussing Rio or the Lambada.
I think that is a sensible & charitable outcome. Good job, Mods!

Hell, I still don’t know what “doxxing” means.
It’s when somebody (often used for the actions of “hackers”) releases personal information about somebody else.

It’s a contraction of “documents,” as in publicly distributing documents that display personal information.
It happens, though rarely. One poster is banned from discussing James Randi.
I accept the warning and the topic ban. I apologize for the link I posted earlier, I was completely unaware of the video included in the link. I also apologize for naming the alleged rape victim and I will never do it again.
I’ve been on this message board for over 11 years, I am going to keep my posts far more restrained because I genuinely enjoy being part of the community here. I’ve been to Dopefests in Dallas, Phoenix, and Chicago and helped to organize the Chicago Dopefests.
I’d like to thank the mods for the second chance, I won’t blow it.
