I think there's a drug dealer in my apartment building

The problems all disappear when you are at the Diamond level…come on by tonight for a quick presentation!

He was concerned that his children might encounter a short-order cook?

Wouldn’t YOU be??

Height-challenged chefs are the next cause celebre.

Can you get a price list for me?

Dollars to donuts, if there is a dealer there, he’s just selling pot. NBD.

I highly doubt you’ve got a narcotics situation.

I would have just said “weird guy”. Not a drug dealer. But that would be a possibility.

So why would all these people be stopping by just to see this weird guy?

If you tipped off the cops, I wonder how the cops could crack a case like this. I don’t think “a buncha strangers who in my opinion are druggies but what do I know” showing up at someone’s door is enough evidence for a warrant. It shouldn’t be. Without a warrant, the police aren’t supposed to break in or tap the guy’s phones or emails or letters.

Hmm. Wonder if the cops could just surveil the place and go through his trash, chemically testing it for drug residue… Of course, *that *may just mean personal use, so…

Nothing to worry about, it’s probably just an illegal arms dealer selling explosives and automatic weapons out of the apartment.

After circuses stopped featuring freak shows for reasons of political correctness, the freaks had to move into private practice.

Just hang out there around dinner time and listen for chants of “one of us, one of us…

  1. They try to make a buy, probably with one of their paid informants. To have that kind of traffic, a lot of people know which door to visit; somebody either already is on the payroll or will agree to be to get out of another charge.

or

  1. They get an existing customer to flip. With lots of traffic, somebody has expired tags or a broken taillight or runs the stop sign leaving. If that somebody is either dumb or merely unlucky, the traffic stop will escalate to a search of the vehicle, the discovery of the purchase, and somebody who wants to make a deal.

As it should be! The Talliarchy needs to check their privilege.

I considered posting a link to this thread in the neighbor stories thread, but decided instead to simply bump it.

The footbridge these people used has been taken out, so if this person still lives here and is still doing this, they’re entering via the other side of the building. Anyway, in recent months, I’ve seen numerous tiny baggies from Walgreens scattered all over the yard, and not just around my building, either. I’m hoping that the baggies belonged to a person who has AIDS, is an organ transplant receipient, or some other condition where they take a lot of meds (some Walgreens will do daily-dose packaging of meds for their customers) but I suspect that somebody is buying and/or selling something else. Thing is, I’m not seeing anything else that could be construed as drug paraphernalia, and wouldn’t a person who’s “using” try to hide it as much as possible?

Just Walgreens baggies, too. Not plain, not from CVS, not from the independent store which probably does this, etc.
