I believe mail.ru and web.de are legitimate domains, but like hotmail accept anonymous e-mail accounts, so are commonly used by spammers. I.e., be skeptical about e-mail accounts based at them, but don’t automatically reject them.

I think you mean if they are hidden, thay can’t be searched, and I’m sure you’re right - search engines aren’t going to have mod or admin access to the board, even if they did index it.
