I Want A New Car!!

I am kind of tired of all the little problems with my car.
Slight oil leaks, 118 thousand miles, very worn interior and a spedometer that is stuck at 115 miles an hour.
I love my car and all, its got everything I want, lots of power, great handling, nice(really really good) sound system. But I want a car with no miles, and with no second hand problems.
Something that will be fast, handle well, and looks good.
Gas mileage (kilometrege?) is not too terribly important. What I have now is a 1991 Ford Mustang hatchback with the 5.0 liter V8. It is an automatic unfortunately. I have been thinking about getting a 2001 Mustang GT, stick shift and in Yellow, but I have also been tossing around the idea of one of those really fast 4 wheel drive Audis, the Quattro I belive.

The Audi would be better for snow and rain, but I live in an area of 1 day of snow every 2 years, and lots of rain for 2-3 months. Now my mustang now will not take any little bit of snow, and will spin the tires all over the place if I give it too much gas when wet, so I would guess that the new 2001 Mustang GT would to the same.
I also love the curvy roads in my area, 299 over to Eureka is one of my favorites.

So I ask of you, what do you recomend? You can suggest other vehicles, but do try and stay away from Japanese vehicles, no offense, but I just dont like them. Oh and I dont make all that much money either, but I have no bills other than insurance, my cellphone and gas.

If you can’t find the Audi you want, look for a VW Corrado. Muscular, fast, dependable, nimble.

Just a thought.

I was considering a sports car for awhile, and I thought about the Mustang, but my personal preference was toward the Formula version of the Firebird or the Camaro. Add in my Dad’s GM discount and the price/performance/appearance leaned me toward the Formula. But since I also wanted yellow, I’d have to get it painted.

Then I realized I should be buying a house instead… I just hope they keep making the F-body long enough for me to buy one.

Can you hook me up with your dads GM discount? I would be forever in your debt.

Not sure how that would work. I’d have to buy the car and then sell it to you, so I think you’d have to pay the 6% sales tax twice. Then you’d have to get the car from Michigan to California. When all is said and done, you wouldn’t save much money. Sorry.
