I want to die.

For the past 4 days I’ve had a sore (understatement) neck, constant tiredness, a headache for the first 2, and my old asthmatic cough (which I have even though I don’t have asthma)

The cough is not like a normal cough, I cough regularly and the cough does not relieve the irritation that caused it. I have an inhaler at home which didn’t work last time I used it ( my old doctor perscribed it for my cough. Seeing it I asked “Does this mean I have asthma” he said “No”. Now I live somewhere else and doctors’s books are all full here)

Every time I cough it causes intense pain in my neck muscles (because we tense our necks when we cough)

I want to die.

Go see a doctor. There could be a number of things wrong with you, and it could possibly be serious. Don’t put it off another day.

I’m on it (even though most doctors are ‘full’ where I live)

Just thought I’d have a moan before I sorted out a doctor.

In the meantime, drink plenty of fluids; get a bottle of your favourite cordial and drink pints of it made up with warm* water.

*Better for you, I find, when you have a rough throat.

Echinacea. In highest potency liquid form, and lots of it. And/or goldenseal.
