I want to paint my house like Bear's Big Blue House. Wacky or cool?

[color=“purple”]Who is Bear? Are we talking about a particular lifestyle here?
There was a house a few blocks away from my home when I was a wee raisin that was painted bright blue. Over the years my eyes were drawn to that house because it was so vivid and stood out from the white painted neighborhood.
Unfortunately the owners never repainted the house and the color just faded until it was just blue and it had become a not-very-nice hue of blue.
i’d suggest painting your home purple, at least you wouldn’t blend in with the sky

Who is Bear. Honestly.

Bear is…well, go here, and let him load for a sec:

That’s Bear. He’s wonderful, and his house is lovely and friendly and always clean. And he can SING! And dance!

I notice he has the same voice of that dragon off “Eureeka’s Castle” on Nickelodeon…

As for the colors, sounds great! Bold and dark colors are very underrated.

dude, you’re like my soul mate!

seriously, i love bear, almost posted ‘welcome welcome welcome’ myself (but you beat me to it)! my son also is not as interested as i am in the show (but at least he loves power puff girls, shh, don’t tell).

and the good bye song, well, i stop whatever i am doing to sing along! it must be the harmony. i SO love that show, pip and pop are hillarious!

i also sing along to the tiny toons theme song, but my son will join me in that one.

we are painting the downstairs (full finished basement → playroom/offices) purple and blue, maybe throw in some yellow, and if need be, pink (hopefully my daughter will like bear more than the boy). it looks soo much better than the wood panelling, i mean, who would buy wood paneling these days? is it cheap or something? but i can’t complain too much that the basement was completely finished when i bought the house…

we chose blue so we could create some kid’s scenes, with a sky background. hope to start that soon…

::sniff:: what’s that smeel? have you been eating waffles? cause something smells all waffly! or maybe you smell this good all the time

Damn, you both beat me to “welcome welcome welcome”!

This morning, we watched “early to Bed, Early to Rise”, which is very special because it features not only Luna, but Ray! Who is voiced by a great actor who used to do 7-Up commercials, and was in the old movie Swashbuckler, IIRC.
