I was swindled by an online business. How to proceed?

I’ve been a **hospice volunteer **for years, that’s how come I know (well, have an opinion about anyway) local florists who actually deliver.

That’s a good idea going forward: calling funeral homes. Most florists are affiliated with nationwide services such as Teleflora, so it makes sense to start local.

Thank you for doing that. You are doing very helpful work and people will remember, even if they don’t say anything at the time.

Sadly, I learned this from experience. I ride with Marines who tend to do such things as go to the sandbox and get killed. I had several bad experiences with online florists and then figured out that the above was the best way to find a good, reliable florist in a different state or even in a different country.

That’s who I used for my second try. And it was successful. The weird thing is, a bouquet of flowers did get delivered from the first flower service but it wasn’t until the next morning and it was a completely different selection that what I had paid for.

I can actually explain that. When you order online, Teleflora or whoever don’t know what flowers are in season or what your local florist has in stock, so they post pics of pretty posies and you just get something in the same price range. I’d still do a charge back on your CC if I was you. The product wasn’t what was ordered and it wasn’t delivered when promised.

PS, not spamming or anything, but next time, look up Sherri’s Berries and send her some chocolate covered strawberries. For about the same money, she will get a beautiful treat that will impress the heck out of her coworkers. Everyone sends their sweeties flowers, not a lot of people think about other treats.
