I wish there was more democratic candidates

i wish there was a third option other then Sanders or Clinton SANDERS CANT WIN.ITS NOT CARVED IN STONE CLINTON CAN WIN EITHER/

Oh for fucks sake. THERE WAS A THIRD OPTION AND HE GOT RUN OUT ON A RAIL.

Webb was the 4th option too

If there were a third candidate, what would differentiate him/her from the other two? Clinton with a likeable personality? Sanders without his socialist(ic) agenda? What do you want?

As a Republican, I can assure you that having a lot of candidates doesn’t mean you’ll end up with a good one.

Frankly, I think having a bland but likeable candidate would be the worst type the Democrats could put up against Trump. You have to start with an energized base, and at least Hillary and Bernie both have energized bases.

Whether their bases (or Trump’s, for that matter) can be built on enough to make a winner remains to be seen.

IT IS, ACTUALLy. I’VE SEEN IT. IT’S QUITE BEAUTIFUL. GOOD CHISEL TECHNIQUE.

There’s no need for a third candidate. There’s no need for a ‘revolution’ now, and there probably never was. The reason why American politics is so Goddamned messed up right now has more to do with the ignorance of American voters than anything else.

People fall for “OMG Obama’s going to create the Weimar republic and crash the economy so he can convert us to socialism” or “OMG! Obama’s creating death panels” or “OMG the economy’s rigged!”

People need to stop falling for this nonsense. People need to stop reading their favorite politically-biased publication or listening to their favorite politically-biased “news” program and just start doing their own homework and see where it takes them.

And also, sometimes, conservatives just may have a point. Yes, Wall Street sucks and their consolidation of financial holdings is a problem, but was everyone who bought homes with ARMs entitled to one? Probably not. There’s that, too.

I would’ve liked Biden. But absent him, I’m happy with Clinton.

The prevailing wisdom, I think, is that the blame accrues to the lenders, the investment houses, and the mortgage brokers pretty much equally. Granted that some people should have known better than to get so far into hock on their houses, but the higher-risk debtors should have been disqualified. All four bear some of the blame, but I tend to go with the first three as the main offenders. Insurers, too, but they were more an aggravating factor than directly bearing complicity.

Four others, actually.
