i.won.com -- guess it's for real

One of the engineers where I work won a $10,000 daily prize on www.iwon.com.

Skeptical me – figured it had to be some kind of scam and those winners were imaginary people.

Apparently not.

Now I suppose I can go back to my original home page, since lightning is unlikely to strike twice.

But wait – there’s still the million dollar monthly prize!

My girlfriend is on many of these sites that offer prizes in order for flooding you with advertisments (I guess you can’t call it spam if you’re asking for it). While I personally hold myself above whoreing out my demographics in order to possibly win sommething, I have to admit that in the last two months, she’s gotten several $15-$25 gift certificates from Barnes & Noble, a sound card, and some assorted minor crap like a return address tamp with her name and address on it, office supplies… etc etc. So, I guess it works for someone.
