I wrote a short sequel to one of my favorite horror films

Fallen is a supernatural horror film starring Denzel Washington about a music loving sadistic demon that can possess people with a touch and loves to kill, terrorize and wreak havoc. In my opinion it’s one of the best horror films of the 1990s and has one of the most original premises. Here is a great scene from it. The film does a great job at showing the type of mayhem a demon could carry out if they existed in the real world rather the tired trope of terrorizing suburban white families and making young women scream expletives and contort their bodies which is something any mentally ill person could do.

I’ve always found it weird how in most possession films the demon does less damage than a normal human could do (Richard Speck, Andrew Kehoe etc). With that in mind I wrote a short sequel script (10 pages) titled Azazel’s Wrath because I think it’s too good of an idea to let pass into obscurity. Here is a link to the script. You don’t have to watch the original film to understand it but it helps to at least read the Wikipedia summary. It’s R rated as you would expect from a horror script about a murderous demon. After you read it tell me what you think. I was thinking it would be the opening scene followed by the credits which consist of a montage of news footage, crime scene photos and articles about Azazel’s atrocities over the years while Time Has Come Today by the Chambers Brothers plays as a reference to the use of Time Is on My Side by the Rolling Stones in the original film.

The pdf won’t load for me :slightly_frowning_face:

I agree that Fallen is a fantastic film and I would welcome a sequel (if it’s done well, obviously). And using that Chambers Brothers song can only up the creep factor(that song used to scare the crap out of me as a kid).

Tell me if this link works.

The second link worked for me; I’ll be back after I’ve had a read thru.

I have never heard of this film, but it sounds awesome, so thanks for the mention and I’ll watch it before reading.

The premise reminds me of the novel Touch, by Clair North, which is about a person (consciousness?) who can jump from body to body by touching them. Not a demon, but people often think he is one.
