Ice and Salt In Water Pipe

I put ice and water in the water reservoir in the water pipe I use for smoking… eucalyptus leaves. Knowing that salt helps lower the freezing point of water, if I added salt to the reservoir, would that cool the smoke even further? Or would it just give me salty-tasting smoke?

I guess if the water is evaporating ot vapor the salt would be left behind
