ICE is racist, fascist, lawless, and running concentration camps

As always the YouTuber personality LegalEagle has a good overview of what happened and whether Ross (the ICE agent who killed Good) can be prosecuted (short answer: maybe but unclear).

28 minutes:

Sometimes it sucks being right:

Currently raised $468,000+

One of those donations is for $10,000 from Bill Ackman. I’m not sure that I’ve heard of him before, but here’s his wiki page

Not this guy. He’s been working for DHS for a long time, and is a firearms instructor. In other words, he’s one of the trainers.

Maybe makes sense.

Supposedly he was in fear for his life from this woman (so the narrative goes). While in fear for his life he managed to video record the encounter with his phone in his left hand while drawing his pistol with his right hand and shooting a young woman he was terrified for his life from in the head.

Mad skills there.

My understanding is police are trained to de-escalate a situation whenever possible. Does DHS teach that?

Right, he’s apparently a pretty good shot.

Just can’t think.

This is just what the puppy killer want’s

Remove that “de-” and you’ve got the DHS/ICE training.
(How is Donald ever going to get his martial law if these guys DE-escalate situations???)

Others have weighed in on this, but I’ll add: the comments in right-wing venues, both written and spoken, make pretty clear that their position is: he clearly had the right to kill her because she mouthed off to him.

It’s of a piece with Tom Homan’s comments that anyone who calls Ross a ‘murderer’ should expect to be the target of righteous violence.*

Fascism goes hand-in-hand with domestic abuse. It’s the same mindset. “I rule here and if I’m not happy with you, you die.”
.
.
* Homan’s remarks were made during his 1/11/26 Meet the Press interview, the entire transcript of which is linked to at the bottom of this post (for those looking for ‘context’!)

By the way, looking for a citation I put “Tom Homan” and “murder” into Google search, and got this scolding from their AI:

Idiotic AI results on Google search seem the norm rather than the exception, these days…

The MtP transcript:

Was the phone drop a deliberate attempt to simulate having been hit?

Maybe, but perhaps it’s just as likely to be a by-product of firing his gun three times. There was bound to be some sort of kick.

Firearms in real life are held with two hands. At least that’s how I was taught to fire one, and I believe all LEO are taught that way. (Not saying I’m a LEO, I mean everyone gets taught to hold a handgun that way.) The last thing you want is a shaky, unsteady hand firing a bullet inaccurately. Guns are fired one-handed by action film stars, not folks in real life.

So he would have dropped the phone to hold the gun to fire it. Your dominant hand holds the gun and pulls the trigger, your off-hand steadies the gun so it stays straight. And yes, it helps with recoil. Anyone trained to fire a gun is going to automatically hold it with both hands by reflex.

And Olympic pistoliers, but they’re typically using air guns and not live ammo.

I’m very sorry for the entire Good family to be dealing with this murder. But I haven’t seen anything from the family. Do they have lawyers filing suits? Lawyers pressuring the state to launch a bigger investigation?

What the FBI is or isn’t doing with all these videos and eyewitness statements is insurmountable. Frustrated because this is an easy murder case.

Shouldn’t we be expecting the Widow Good to launch a stadium show in a few weeks with a full spangled jumpsuit and kick-ass pyrotechnics, receive a passionate hug from AOC before endorsing her for president, set up a memorial Honda Pilot for taking selfies and sell merch? I mean Erika Kirk is an example of normal widow behavior, right?

I’m hoping the family and loved ones don’t need to make statements at all. Hoping legal can jump on something for them.

Doubt it.

Yup, and he was a firearm instructer. Two hands provides stability.

Now If you absolutely panic, you might use one hand. Nothing says you can’t use one hand. You can but it’s dumb. They are hand guns after all. Not hand’s gun.

Some pistol/revover competitions might require one hand shooting. But in an active ‘combat’ situation it’s two.

And this guy fired more than once I think. Was it three times?

Three shots, yes.

Gotta make sure…

Do the ICE nazis assemble their own uniforms and kit? They look like a bunch of cosplayers who met up at a Con. There seems to be a wide variety of styles and equipment. Do they pick out what ever they prefer from various sources?

That some are in actual uniforms and some are in civvies (I just saw a video of an encounter with a citizen and it was pointed out that this ICE agent from who knows where was wearing civvies and a local sportsball team hat) puts the thought in my mind of how easy it would be for those ICE agents to drop their gear and disappear into a protest crowd . . . and everything that that implies.
