That was tough to watch. The agent who shot her was in front of her car when she started driving and so was theoretically at risk (I suppose), but he was able to easily move out of the way of her vehicle while firing at least 3 times into the driver. Doesn’t look like he is particularly fearful of his life. Looks like he wanted to do some shooting.
Of course he knows it. The whole modus operandi for Trump and every Republican in office at the moment is to intentionally lie about verifiable things in order to further deepen their control on the reality of their constituents. To think that he (and others) only lie when the truth isn’t in plain sight ignores a year’s worth of evidence to the contrary.
Nobody got run over as far as I can see. She wasn’t even really running. Just got killed.

When does the spark light the powder keg? Is this it? We had a few internment nationwide marches last year and around me there are Tesla protests with a handful of old people on a daily basis, but when does the fight get fucking real?

But there needs to be some kind of resistance to this action.
This guy needs to be ostracized and shamed in public media at the very least.
He should be arrested and charged with murder but that’s not going to happen.
This is just getting worse and worse. My wife and I are paficists. But I do own guns that where given to me by family. Inherited. I used to target shoot a lot.
It won’t help, but I’m going to buy a revolver more suitable for my wife. And she will take profesional training. This is an if it really, really does go to hell even worse than it is move. I want my wife to understand firearms, period. I’d like her to be able to pick up any weapon, and be able to shoot it. This is a start.
This is just a horrifying story. The incident happened about a mile from where I live and is close to a major hospital. The woman was clearly just trying to move out of the mess and was murdered for it. This is the stuff that sparks riots and more death. Sadly, with the hiring of untrained and unqualified thugs, it was bound to happen, and will happen again and again.

Yeah I know. It just seems like something needs to happen otherwise we all sit idly by while our country slips when further into the abyss. Doing nothing feels like an endorsement.
They are killing people to keep an insurectionist and over all traitor and horible person out of prison. Lovely.
I wouldn’t advocate for doing nothing. But protests need to be VERY disciplined. Silent people holding signs–in the millions. Maybe not right in front of an ICE facility. In front of other federal buildings, would be smarter. Signs can be explicit about ICE lawlessness and how it’s unacceptable.
Don’t give the fascists any excuses.
