I’m sure someone can improve on my guesses.
They look to be a mid-30’s sedan (first photo) and coupe. The manufacturers were producing very similar body styles during that time so someone else may have to spot the details that identify them specifically.
The coupe in photo number two looks a lot like a 1938-1939 Buick. The side vents on the hood are a dead giveaway as to the manufacturer.
ETA: just noticed that the linked photo is a 1937 Buick.
I can’t tell exactly, but I think I see an oval window Beetle in the second picture.
That would date the photo anywhere between '53 to '58, at least.
He’s asking for age on the old cars.
The car in photo #1 could be a 1934 Dodge touring car, similar to this one. Note the similar side vents on the hood.

Number two looks like a 1937 Chevrolet to me. The key feature is the slanting crease behind the front fender.
Actually, the first looks like a Chevy, too-I think it’s a 1934 Chevrolet.

I thought it was a VW at first also, but at closer look it is just the camera angle giving that impression.
