ID the issue this Mad Magazine article ran in

I’m enjoying my “Absolutely Mad” DVD, and have been able to find most of the material I remember. An exception:

It’s “A Mad Peek Behind the Scenes”. Several such articles showcased an airport (issue # 126), a laundry (#128), a post office (#120), a service station (#123), and the Pentagon (#130).

This one took place at an ad agency.

There were many jokes referencing currently popular campaigns. The one I liked best made fun of the Kellogg’s Grape Nuts campaign in which a fit, youthful mother keeps getting mistaken for her teenage daughter. However, in this Mad feature, both mom’s and the daughter’s weights have skyrocketed as a result of their (disobeying the account exec’s instructions and) actually eating the 400-calorie per cup cereal.

Another ad man consoles the account exec, “Oh well, at least there’s one consolation: you still can’t tell them apart”.

Which issue did this article run in? TIA.

#139, Sept. 70.

Here’s a link. You’ll need to scroll down.

Found this one immediately by Googling for “A Mad Peak behind the Scenes” and “ad agency”:

Well, except that I spelled “peek” right when I Googled it.

It seems so weird that this issue was in fact the very first one I ever bought. Memories…
