If you type in Josephine Baker + fez, it pulls up a Josephine Baker room at the Le Marrakech. I think that also should be indicative that it’s probably her.

I’m not seeing the likeness to Baker. The lips do look feminine, though.

I vote for Marcel Marceauas well. The lips and eyebrows look painted in the same style.

Just doesn’t look caucasian to me.

I expect you’re right about that—but the artist’s technique, there, didn’t really work out. The end result doesn’t look like facial creases, much. :frowning:

OMG!!

My daughter just told me about Stromae a few months ago - she loves his music. When I first saw your thread yesterday, that’s exactly who I thought it was, but I wasn’t completely convinced. I wonder, however, if Stromae’s pose is simply a representation of the real person in that painting.
