ID this Connie Willis story

I attended a reading by Connie Willis at MIT, probably in 1996 or so. She read a short story that I think was not published at the time, but I thought that it was supposed to be soon. The plot involved various angels attempting to organize Armageddon, and was essentially a parody of a church committee meeting, complete with finally deciding to postpone the event because some slackers hadn’t gotten their part done. Does anyone recognize this? Was it ever published?

Look over titles, “Why the World Didn’t End Last Tuesday” might fit.
