identify this graphic novel

I was browsing through this thread thrying to recall graphic novels that I’d read and enjoyed, and I came up with one who’s title I cannot remember.

It’s about a girl, who has (I think) run away from home, and winds up staying in a house with a guy. At night she has to pass judgement on other people, in a courtroom in the house.

I think she became aware of what she was doing at some point, and was trying to protect someone’s little sister from the courtroom, or maybe just the people in it.

I’m not sure whether the house was ‘alive’ or what, but I remember thinking it was really cool when I happened to read it at the library, and wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a copy.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Furthermore, am I right in remembering it as something worth owning?

Sounds like a Brian Talbot GN i read a while back, but the name escapes me at the moment. Do a search on his name and you’ll probably find it.

Sounds like the Vertigo series House Of Secrets.

Ooooh, this could become a fun game thread. My turn!

One of the earliest CGI graphic novels, it’s about a man in the future adopting the identify of an ancient hero.

And that’s an easy one. Nyuk, nyuk.

BTW, I can’t think of what manx’s GN is.

Was the hero Batman?

If so, you’re thinking of the truly horrible Digital Justice

House of Secrets it is!
