ISTR a guy making the talk show rounds about a year or so ago. The guy was a geeky-looking dude, in his mid-twenties to mid-thirties. He would go on and on about how wealthy he was, about all the cool gadgets (think: top-of-the-line motorcycles and European sports cars) he has, etc. When asked how he actually earned his money, he spoke in vague platitudes about visualization, not setting artificial barriers for yourself, etc.
Except that the guy was a college dropout whose parents subsidized most of his lifestyle.
