I know IE 5.5 is free et al.
But it it free for ‘corporate use’? I have it installed here at work and the MIS guys took it off.
To my knowledge, browsers were now free even for corporate use.
Am I wrong?

Far as I know they’re free…
That’s what I thought.
THe MIS guys here took it off because they said they were not licenced for it. (Mind you…the MIS guyes here are useless…the user access to the print servers have been dropped and now no one can print.)
I think they are full of it, but I just came here to make sure.
They may just be saying that. A lot of the time tech support don’t like users installing their own software; it’s easy to bugger up something else if you’re a novice, or they want to avoid supporting something they’re not supposed to.
Ah, simply read that licensing agreement that came with it. I bet the boss guys actually read it, they are so clever & intelligent to know to do that.
I’d do that, but as soon as I DL it, they alarms go off.
