      • Does anybody know somewhere that I can get IE5 on a CD, such as a computer magazine that comes with a CD? Some newsstand magazines have CDs every month but I can’t afford to buy them all just to check. I need to have it to update Vis Studio, and I ain’t even gonna try to stay online for the ten or twelve hours to download it. - MC

You might try one of the ubiquitous AOL installation disks that are floating around everywhere. You may be able to simply install IE without turning AOL loose on your system.

Don’t use any ISP CD for that matter. They’ll take over your computer, even if you just wanted to install the browser off the CD.
