I was just wonderin’ what browser people use while posting here at SDMB.
Personally, I use Netscape. All I have to do is type ‘str’ in the address bar and hit enter. It finishes the rest for me! How cool is that?
Now, I know in IE that it does a similar thing, it gives a little list of matching address and you can click on them. But that requires moving my hand from the keyboard to the mouse. Too much effort in my opinion.
Also, Microsoft is evil.
iCab …what a browser should be:)
I use Netscape 6 for everything.
Opera.
Netscape. I refuse to use any Microsux software if a reasonable alernative exists.
IE, because I like having a browser that doesn’t use 20% (exagerrated, but you get my point) of my system resources with only one window open like Nutscrape. Rarely crashes for me, and suits my needs.
This thread might also belong in IMHO, since that is the place for polling.
IE
IE. I’ve still got Netscrape on my computer, but I never use it because it’s such a resource hog.
IE.
Not true. You can use up and down arrow keys thus avoiding the wasted energy of going from the keyboard to the mouse for a single task. Believe me, I’ve got this using one input device, whether it be keyboard or mouse, down!
IE 5.0 and higher also has Auto Complete for forms. I don’t know if Netscape has this, but it really comes in handy when completing multiple forms with the same fields.

True, but I don’t have to wait for IE to ‘load’ like I used to with Netscape!
Well, I TRIED to lay claim to browsing the SDMB via the mighty NCSA Mosaic.
Got here successfully. Was able to read the threads.
Can’t post with it. No Java comprehension.
In real life, Netscape. Usually version 3.0 with a minimal set of plug-ins. Version 4 (128-bit encrypt) with a larger set of plug-ins for things I can’t do in 3.
