If I enter a URL on IE, and it takes a while to load, then I decide to switch to another application, IE insists on taking focus back when it’s got something loaded. No other Windows application takes back focus when it completes an operation.
Is this configurable?
Oh, other application do it as well. MS Word just did it on me twice during loading big document.
There is application called Tweak UI that allow - among other things - to configure stealing focus.
WordPerfect does that too.
This seems to work, except in certain circumstances, such as when a dialogue box window appears; telling you the page is unreachable; or asking for a login, that sort of thing. I don’t think you can override that particular kind of focus stealing.
