IE Yahoo page vs Mozilla Yahoo page

Why is my IE Yahoo page m.www.yahoo.com and my Mozilla is www.yahoo.com?

I can’t load Yahoo in IE without the m.

Anybody have any ideas?

My IE at work does not have that mysterious m, but my wife says her page at work does.

Is “m” our new Overlord?

Apparently Yahoo is testing a new layout:

Try clearing out your cookies.

m=microsoft. And despite everything, IE still renders HTML and CSS incorrectly, so depending on how involved your webpage gets, some designers build separate pages for different browsers.

Not that that is necessarily the case here.

Thank you.
That worked.

I just thought it was really odd to have browsers displaying totally different pages.
