If all the ice and snow all over the planet melts; where will the new coastline be?

One thing I noted was that land below 100 meters elevation was shown as submerged – even if it did not connect to the ocean. Most notably, the Pannonian Plain (Hungary and Transylvania, with some surrounding lands) would probably end up like the Imperial Valley or the Dead Sea area – below sea level dry land, with salt lakes here and there.

I’d be very curious to see what Death Valley in Calif. will look like as bay-front property.

How does all of that coastline affect local climates? Does Death Valley (the part not right underwater) become wetter and cooler? Does central Australia fare similarly? And what kind of currents would you get through the north-south Australian channel? Or through Panama?

What timeframes are we speaking about? Has anybody made a reasonable prediction of the sea level change for, say, the next X years, assuming a certain emission function?
