I’m happily using FireFox but I’d certainly take a good look at a Google browser, as I’m very pleased with Gmail/Googlemail. But I htink they’d have to have some rather interesting innovation in mind to make it worht their time and trouble, really.
I’m pretty set in my ways—I’m still using IE for OS X—so probably not.
Supposedly the reason Microsoft squirshed Netscape was because they were worried about a browser-based operating platform coming into existence–thus making their lower-level-type OS monopoly less effective.
I don’t think google is making a browser, but I do think that there is room to do a lot more than what is currently being done, given creativity and skilled coders. (And assuming you don’t mind the wrath of MS.)
