If I had one week to live...

I’d like to spend it in corporate training, because that way it would feel like forever!

Halfway through day 1 of 2 days’ of training, hoping that the supposedly incoming snowstorm washes out day 2. I can’t recall any workplace training over the past quarter century which I considered effective. Having my time wasted in training just makes me mean, which means I need to be sure to keep my damned mouth shut. Please show me another few hundred things I will NEVER use/need, instead of the 5 or so that I will!

Oh well, break is almost over. Think I’ll download some crosswords…

This is one of those philosophical questions that can’t be answered until the time comes. I have thought about it more now that I don’t expect to live forever. My goal would be to get rid of all my physical property without wasting too much time. Financially, I’d have to set up two trusts to pass everything on, probably should do that now anyway. All the money going to the 14 year old would be predicated upon academic performance as too much money can spoil a person.

Corporate training and anything similar organized by people who don’t do your job and don’t know anything about it.

I tune out and keep one ear open for keywords that might interest me, but otherwise I’m in a different world, mentally going over practical things I haven’t devoted enough contemplation time to recently, and that will actually make my life better, as opposed to your mandatory wank-fest.
