Una, good research, but check out Justice League #9, The Origin of the Justice League. In it Superman is confronted by a being made of Diamond, well, I’ll let the dialogue speak for itself: Snapper Carr speaks up suddenly…" Whoa, Superman, I know you can change coal into diamond by rubbing it with your super-hands—but how could you change diamond into Coal? Quite simply, Snapper— I simply rubbed the diamond being wrong way! I don’t read you—but you have such hi-fi thoughts, I’ll just cool my engine until I’m on your wavelength!(snapper)." So, not only can Superman create diamonds out of coal, he can reverse the process.
That’s pretty interesting. The next time I go to the comic store I’ll look that one up.
My daughter just two months ago solved a problem i have with what & where do i want my “remains” to be kept after i die… Traditional burial, yuck! In a jar as ashes locked in a tiny, expensive darkness…scattered and blown all over the planet or floated down the ganges as birds peck, eat & turn me into poop…no way!
My daughter knows of a company that can use the carbon left after cremation, press it into a diamond she can wear, allowing us to be together, a sparkling way my remains can remind her of my love for her, it will be not only my birthstone (april) but my eternal stone, a reminder and the eyes to my legacy of family as they live on through the years…and everyone knows ‘‘diamonds are forever’’…

Has Superman ever squeezed a lump of weapons grade Plutonium? What happened? Would that be his idea of a hand-warmer?
