If only I had ten brains or a time alteration device.

Ten brains would run in parallel or I would go back in time ten times.

Then I would be able to persue ten of the multitude of valuable knowledge paths that are currently competing to be the ‘one thing’ that my one brain can only think of at a time.

Do I throw myself into learning ASP programming?

Do I throw myself into re-learning OO C++ programming?

Do I throw myself into photography?

Do I throw myself into learning to become a writer of some kind?

Do I throw myself into inter-personal relationships?

Do I throw myself into physical self-improvement?

Do I throw myself into wreckless self-abandon?

Do I throw myself into the sea?

Do I throw myself into finding all the music I have not yet heard that I would love if I heard it?

Do I throw myself into becoming the kind of mid-thirties made-man that women in their early twenties swoon for?
Having only one brain and no time machine I am stuck tryinng to decide which… all the while not doing any.

What would you do with your ten brains or time alteration device?

It took me a moment or two to figure that out, but I’d

  1. pursue many, many other languages,
  2. learn webpage coding,
  3. work decently with Photoshop,
  4. figure out all those Mensa puzzles and brainteasers,
  5. play the violin,
  6. get in some really wild trips (hey, I’ve got a spare or two, don’t I?)
  7. acquire cool detective skills,
  8. take up glass-blowing,
  9. become proficient in doing complicated math sums (the long-equation-on-a-chalkboard kind) in my head,
  10. solve the meaning of life.

When I said ‘Not doing any’ I meant to say ‘Doing item one and a tiny bit of item three’
