If our ancestors could have seen us today

What things might they have done differently, if they didn’t approve of how we turned out? Would feudal/monarchal societies be appalled at democracy, or would the Church consider our comparatively libertarian society to be grossly immoral? Would they consider the Industrial Revolution a mistake? Given that so many features of today’s world came about slowly by a “slippery slope” process, what things might they have prevented or banned if they’d had 20/20 prescience?

Well I think they would firstly judge us “visually” speaking… so certainly tank top and cleavage exposing females would make us seem less than moral. Otherwise all the modern stuff should awe them and seem more than compensate our moral failings. Especially after they use a jacuzzi with a horny lady !

Social separation might seem odd to them as well... since peasants are allowed to live in nice places too.

I think ol’ Tom Jefferson would have nailed a few extra-clear and unambiguous clauses to the Bill Of Rights.

I’m sure that the founders would be appalled at the scope and size of our bloated and overreaching government.

Puritans would be offended by XXX web sites and exposed cleavage.

Peasants, Cave men and American Indians and just about anybody from before the industrial revolution would be amazed and awed by our technology.

European feudal societies would be big fans of democracy, IMO. Nearly all humans are, past or present. (The notable exception being those who are in charge in a non-democratic system.)
