If the beatles had debuted on Ed Sullivan right after Covid hit

If the beatles had debuted on Ed Sullivan right after covid hit, they’d be releasing abbey road this year.

It happened that fast.

And Yoko Ono would be being blamed for COVID.

But they’d have been walking further apart.

They wouldn’t have become as good as in real life because they couldn’t have honed their skills and interplay on stage for about two decisive years of their career.

The wit is one of the reasons I love this place. Bravo, y’all.

Back in the E.R.

Don’t Let Masks Down

Get Back (To Being 6 feet apart)

Getting Better (I can smell again!)

Glass Onion (What the dome at the restaurant in which we ate dinner looked like)

Happiness Is a Wet Wipe

Here, There and Everywhere (the answer to “which surfaces should I disinfect?”)

I Wanna Bump your Elbow

I Feel Fine (So far)

I’m Looking Through (the clear plastic divider at) You

Yoko? Oh no!

That’s the best of the bunch. Bravo! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s always surprising to remember how briefly the Beatles existed. It was only eight years from their first hit to their breakup.

Is it though?

Beetle Life Span

Adult beetles’ lifespans vary wildly depending on the species with some beetles living for only a couple weeks before reproducing and dying off, while other species can survive for several years. If you add in the time that it takes to reach adulthood, some beetles can live for several years as they overwinter during critical developmental stages. Some species will even survive long enough to overwinter once or twice as an adult before dying off. Other species of beetles can be very short-lived and survive in total for a couple months before reproducing and then dying. Even though optimal life expectancy maybe a set time, there are often other factors that impact how long a beetle survives. Things like urbanization, habitat modification, pesticide use, predation, and even climate change have all made significant impacts on the life span of a beetle.

Mind blown.

Just to play devil’s advocate, I think Hamburg and Brian Epstein (pre-Sullivan/COVID) get most of the credit for honing their stage appeal. If they had been locked down in 1964-65, they would have gotten a huge head start on their best songwriting and record making genius.

Baby’s got a sneeze, you know
It comes from that disease, you know, she said so
She’s in quarantine but I feel fine

I Am the Virus

Nice. Except now I’ve got that alternate version in my head.

Baby You’re a Sick Man

You’ve Got To Hide Your Cough Away

“You say you want some ivermectin, well, you know…it’s not gonna help your cough…”

Since he passed away in '74, wouldn’t they be appearing on the Zombie Ed Sullivan Show?

He said,
I know what it’s like to be dead…
