Remove Saddam, get a more moderate government in place.
Like any regime that the peope fear, when he is gone, their true fear and hate of him will be apparent and moderates will be available.
Our intent in the middle east is to always maintain a power struggle, with no one leader getting too powerful or too crazy.
I am oversimplifying. Whatever you do, try and read up on the Iraq issue outside the realm of the mainstream media’s spin on it.
There will be no coalition; just the old imperial powers of the US and Britain.
Don’t kid yourself. Unless there’s support from the Gulf States (which, AFAIK there is not), even us Brits might not be able to support you.
