Does it ever finish, or does it just end at Frodo separating from the party? It seemed to have a good thing going, but then it just stopped.

The author, Cassandra Claire, wrote a bunch of these after seeing FotR in 2001 (IIRC, they were originally posted in her LiveJournal), then a few more after seeing TTT in '02, but then abandoned the idea. Too bad; they were hilarious.
