No way this guy is a HOFer with only 4 seasons in the bank. There’s got to be a balance between performance, longevity, and success. Brady has success. He’s at best OK in the performance category, would you compare him with Manning or other top flight QBs if he didn’t win 3 super bowls? He has no longevity.
I think people will also remember Kurt Warner when thinking about how much to value a few years of success. He was arguably the best passer in the league while winning 2 super bowls, but what has he done other than that? Nothing, that’s what. That guy put up numbers way better than Brady for 3 seasons, but nobody in their right mind would say his name and HOF at the same time.
The guys in the HOF who don’t have longevity have blown the doors off on performance, far outstripping the competition, to the point where one doesn’t even have to debate how good they are. This is not the case with Brady.
