I would definitely enjoy this movie.
Not sure what I’d do – maybe a really good film version of The Tempest, because there isn’t one, and you can never have too many Shakespeare movies. (OK, I can never have too many Shakespeare movies. ;))

I would like to pursuade Michael Crichton to collaborate on a sequel to Andromeda Strain. In which it turns out that Andromeda isn’t really a microbe, it’s a nanomachine- one programmed to do something special if it ever found the right environment.
Valve Software is considering doing just that. There was a short promotional film made for Half-Life, but it was so bad it was never distributed. Now they apparently want to make a real movie. Any game site will probably have this info, but it’s probably most enjoyable at http://www.somethingawful.com (check the news from 10/27/01).
I always thought James Remar was born to play that role.
