I had a herniated disk in my back the day before the interview. I called and said I’d reschedule when I was able to get out of bed. I did call, but they never returned my call.
Remembered another one - a headhunter called and set up an interview. After the call, I realized I knew some people who had worked there in the past. I talked to two of them, heard some unbelievable horror stories, including multiple employees suing the owners, and called the headhunter back to cancel. I let him know why, in case he wanted to give the company some feedback.
