Really though, noone will ever F— with Canada or Mexico regardless of their militia because the U.S. wouldn’t stand for it. It is much better to influence a country with friendship than to expand control. The U.S. has enough problems with it’s Domestic Policy. We couldn’t handle the infrastructure. We would have to fly to a whole other continent to get free government provided health care! Corona would be a domestic beer! We would have to buy new uniforms for all those cute mounties! Either way we would lose much more than we would gain.

MysterEcks - I agree with the marine. We wouldn’t go down without putting up one hell of a good fight.

Even the most laid back, friendly, and peace loving Canuck would take exception to anyone who threatened his home and family.

A war would disrupt to flow of beer too…

Yep… lots of body bags would be needed.

Mexico has oil reserves, right? Weather’s nicer. The Canadians rarely, if ever, piss us off - play good neighbor. Take Mexico’s oil, then sell the dried husk to Panama, maybe keep some beach resorts.

Mexico.

The government is corrupt.

The National Police force is more corrupt than the government.

They encourage the drug trade.

The harbor major drug cartel leaders.

They don’t give a crap about most of their people.

They don’t spend all that much effort to find American criminals who have fled into their country, especially those with lots of ready cash.

We’re supporting a huge chunk of their population right now here in the US and in Mexico.

It would stop the virtual slave working conditions and pay many of the adjoining states like to practice on ‘Illegals’.

There is something about the Great White North, but I just don’t know what it is. They can keep it.
Mexico has better weather and food.
Besides, if you check the borders, I think Mexico is invading the U.S.A.
