Play gift counselor for me, please: I’m buying a birthday gift for a friend, and wanted to get a funny graphic novel. He adores Groo the Wanderer (has all the gns and other merch.) What’s funny in more or less a comparable sort of way?
If he already has all of Groo, he might well have these, too, but there are the other comics by Sergio Aragonés, such as Plop! and Funnies (none of which are as good as Groo.) or you could just buy him some mulch.
Also, while veering well off your “funny” desire, you might want to consider Usagi Yojimbo, which you can see a bit of Groo in, even though it is more serious.
Turn him on to Nodwick. Or Order of the Stick.
