My first reverse rainbow! Purple just jumped right out at me, and I was surprised it was purple. Then, when the next one I saw was blue, I decided to go for it. I saw both of the last two categories fairly easily, too, but dithered a bit about which was which.
There was one, though I couldn’t find the fourth. Tops (clothing).
It’s Monday for me, and my break is done so it’s back to work. This one was very easy.

Pretty easy, and a reverse rainbow. OTOE immediately jumped out at me as a wordplay clue.
I was just about to submit the green answer second, then switched at the last second, thus avoiding the collective fate.

Two days in a row with a clue that immediately gave away purple. Today was OTOE; yesterday, whatever that ridiculous word ending in DIME was.
I also messed up the RR. I should have known a synonym category was probably not blue.
Wednesday has arrived. And I got hit by the red herring. I hesitated, but went for it, and completely got taken in.
